    iPod Software Update 2.0.1 released

    Apple has released iPod Software Update 2.0.1, which offers restore and update features to iPods with a dock connector. (Touch-wheel and scroll-wheel iPod owners without a dock connector should download iPod Software Update 1.3.) According to Apple, iPod Software Update v2.0.1 offers better support for Asian languages; enhanced On-The-Go playlist functionality; improved playback performance; better handling of MP3 VBR songs; improved backlighting, and an enhanced alarm clock. It also fixes a problem with left/right channel swapping.
